Haha! Whoo hoo! Yeah!
—Little Mac, after winning a fight
Little Mac is the main protagonist of the Punch-Out series. His goal is to become the champion of the WVBA, the World Video Boxing Association. He is a confirmed newcomer for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
Affiliation in Smash Bros.Edit
Little Mac has been a character wanted in Smash since the first Super Smash Bros. in 1999. He was an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and is finally making his debut as a playable character in the upcoming games for Wii U and 3DS. Prior to his playable appearance in 3DS/Wii U, he was an Assist Trophy in Brawl.
He was the fifth confirmed newcomer for this game, being revealed on February 13, 2014. His reception in the US was great. He was mostly expected here, and Sakurai surprised many of us with how unique he plays in-game. His reception in Japan however, wasn't nearly as good. Side-b of Doom Edit
Little Mac has one move that has made his entire character a meme: His Side B. With this move, he lunges forward in an attempt to smack sense into his opponent. But 90% of the time, this move is either ducked under or jumped over all while they were at the very edge of the stage...you can guess what that leads to.
- Little Mac has a visible bulge in his official artwork. It's not that noticable though.
- Little Mac is confirmed to never remove his gloves. They don't come off.
- Little Mac is also confirmed to never remove his shoes. Those shoes take a long time to tie.
